Handbuilt ceramics, one of a kind vessels and multi-media assemblages, by Anne Novak. In my work I enter into a collaboration with clay, water and fire, occasionally incorporating natural and/or manmade materials, such as goose quills, sinew, bone, scrap metal, seaweed, and wood. Most of my pieces are in the form of vessels metaphors, perhaps, for the human body; containers for the spirit. They are objects of contemplation, which will make unique and dramatic accents for the home or office.
